Hello!

My name is Ashton N. Hopper, the founder and a professional groomer here at The Grooming Lab!

I was raised in the Redbank Valley Area. From a young age, my love for animals has been a huge part of my life, from participating in the local 4-H to working at local boarding kennels.

I’ve been working in this industry since 2018. I started out as a bather and kennel attendant at Trillium Pet Care and then continued my career at Pawsitive Image Pet Resort, where I began to learn more about the grooming industry and techniques. While I was working at the kennels, I attended Penn Foster Career School, studying their Veterinary Technician program. In 2021, I went back to Penn Foster Career School and obtained my Pet Grooming Certificate. I graduated at the top of my class. After starting a family and wanting to be home with my children as much as I could, I decided to start grooming and boarding in my home. With a turn of events and opportunities opening, I have found the perfect facility in my hometown to open my grooming salon!

I am the wife of a supportive husband and the mom of three amazing kids! I have three dogs: Stella (a chocolate lab), Milo (a German Shepard mix), Bandit (a beagle), and soon another named Stormi (a black lab). In my downtime, I love to spend time with my family, friends, and pets exploring the world.
